Enfield Manual exchange. Early 1960s just before the change over to automatic.

The main fuse board for the 65 position manual A board and the 11 position B board which was for connecting incoming calls from Londons automatic exchanges. A system called CCI.

Enfield Manual exchange power control board just before change over to a 4,000 type Strowger automatic exchange. Both photos were taken by me, G3NQF

Thanks for the interesting and unexpected site.
I was at Enfield ATE from 1970 until 1978 as a TT(A), T2a and TO.
I often wonder when it was converted to electronic, have you any idea?
Kind regards,
Bob.
