Telephoto view from the river bank on the east side.

Concave red fungus found growing in beech woods in November at 900 feet above sea level at Birdlip hill near Gloucester England. It looks similar to Orange peel fungus but for colour and enviroment and time of year. Kingdom = Fungi. Phyum=Ascomycota. Speces probably = Sarcoscypha Coccinea (Scop) Lambotte.
